Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her career by playing supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). She was later a reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt and had a supporting role in the short-lived television series The Ex List. In the premiere season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara as a young Moira and in the second season, she was Kaylee. The character was played by Jessie on the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie played the role of Sophie in the NBC show This Is Us. She also voiced of many characters in the animated comedy series Family Guy. She is currently voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother when she was of 10. The family moved around for one year before eventually moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to become interested in singing, acting, and photography when she was 13. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue a career in acting.
